BUILDING WIDE ICE CREAM SOCIAL!!!
As an act of tenant appreciation the building my office was in held an ice cream social for everyone, and I have to say, it was pretty awesome. They had four flavors of ice cream that you could get in a dish or in a waffle cone. And then they had like 8 toppings that you could put on.
Luckily went down to the lobby the line was pretty short but when I left there had to be about 100 people milling about. I didn't even think that many people worked in the building. I mean, the parking lot always seems empty. Makes me wonder where they all came from.
Perhaps they were ice cream social crashers.
How do I get that to be my job title?

It's like pretzel day at the office, just much cooler...
Wow your company goes all out. When we get Ice Cream Socials we get vanilla with a choice of strawberries or fudge. Not that I'm complaining, I love taking a half hour of work on paid time =)
364 days until the next ice cream social day...
We're a small company of 15 so it's not difficult to do such things. On the last Friday of every month the bossman buys everyone lunch. We have a short meeting at 11:30 then everyone digs in.
It's a nice perk in an otherwise ordinary routine.
Oh god it is like Pretzel Day. Why didn't I think of that?
And I guess that means there are a LOT of Stanley's in my office.
My boss has been known to buy lunch for my department. I don't know if she does it for other departments or not. Probably because the other people aren't as awesome as we are. (YEAH, I'M TALKING ABOUT YOU CO-WORKERS-WHO-READ-THIS! J/K sorta...)
